How might we cocreate leadership in Rochdale Borough?

A Brilliant Thing CIC are working with Rochdale Local Care Organisation (LCO), Maverick Lab CIC and Aspire to Inspire CIC to develop a blueprint for Leadership Development Programme in Rochdale borough and support the Prevention agenda.

To develop the programme content we are navigating leadership together and listening to what communities and workforces need and want from their leaders. We are doing this through community conversations, meeting takeovers, listening events and participatory research.

We are running a series of experiments to explore and understand different ways people learn, such as placements in community settings and creative workshops, so the programme will go beyond traditional training.

The ambition of the developed programme is to create a Rochdale Borough specific offer, which can be commissioned by the LCO and available to Local Authority, NHS and Community leaders.
