How can we create sector value and creative value through mentoring?

In Spring 2025 A Brilliant Thing CIC delivered a mentoring programme for arts professionals based in Rochdale, funded by Rochdale Development Agency.

The programme included group sessions for 12 participants to explore leadership themes and 5 1:1 mentoring sessions.  It was facilitated by Kerry Tottingham, Liz Mytton and Helena Gaughran. This report details the content of the sessions, and development support provided. 

Participants gained confidence, used resources more effectively, and each achieved meaningful outcomes. The result is a more motivated, connected, and future-facing creative community.

This programme increased productivity, inspired creativity, and strengthened sector resilience.
